I've decided that I'm not going to go into London within the first few days. I was intending to go for an "orientation" thing that's not required but is recommended. After looking at train tickets I've decided that it is going to be too much of a hassle, and that I am far too intimidated to go by myself.
I think that by using my resources and making some friends, I'll be perfectly fine without it. I'll email them and ask them to email/mail me anything of dire importance. Ten days.

I got an email today from the guy who is managing my travel stuff. He says that my visa was approved today, and that everything should be coming within the next week.
It's fantastic. I didn't have any doubts that I was going to be approved, but I would be lying if I said that there wasn't a lagging worry in the back of my mind. My visa was the final piece to put everything together.
So I am going, and am legally entitled to work in England. Fifteen days.

Layout has changed, just to point out the obvious. No particular reason, I just have too much time on my hands.
My tickets and travel insurence are waiting for me at the Travel Cuts office. I'm just wating for my visa to come through (which they are also handling for me), and that should be taken care of in about a week.
I leave on March 1st. That's three weeks and three days, folks.

Ok. This is the first post of Lisa's Travel Blog.
I realize that I have not left yet, however I need an address to give the people at work before my last shift (which is today). I leave in three weeks and three days, and once I've gone posts will start to come more frequently.
You'll also notice that I went to an old Kingdom Hearts layout. THe reason for this is because I found it in my old emails from Kora, looked at it again, and decided that I still quite liked it, and it was time for a change. I was actually looking for the template of my pirate layout, but couldn't find it - so this one will do for the time being.
I've also put Haloscan as my comment provider so that everyone who reads this can comment if they wish, and don't have to be a member of blogger to do so.
So more posts to come in the future.
