I have no mop or plunger, and I don't even have enough towels to wipe up the water that got everywhere. It spilled out of the bathroom and into the hall. I called the manager and she helped me sort it all out, and has temporarily lended me a plunger in case it happens again. Despite this unfortunate event, I am very happy to have moved. This lovely little apartment has hardwood floors and tile. I have my own bedroom as well. Not enough storage space, but that's to be expected in a 500 sq. foot apartment. It's got lots of windows and a view overlooking the apartment pool.
The furniture is in, but not all the boxes have been unpacked. I also need to bring over my makeup from my old place. But there's no rush - I've got nine more days until all my stuff needs to be out of the other apartment.
I'm really excited to turn this fantastic little place into my home. It seems that everything is coming together for me. But now I need to get ready for work; it's time to test out the shower!
